Contact Us
Ask us anything before you apply, including the medication question you are worried will disqualify you. A real person answers, nothing is charged to enquire, and there is no form to fill in — just write to us properly.
A physician reads every application
Not a coordinator, not a chatbot. If your file needs medical judgement it gets medical judgement, within 48 hours on weekdays.
Nothing is charged to enquire or apply
No deposit until a doctor has read your file and confirmed a place. Book flights after that, never before.
Two people see your history, and that is all
The reviewing physician and your integration lead. The maestros never see your medical file.
No drip sequence, no chasing
You will hear from us once with an answer. If you go quiet we assume the answer is no and leave you alone.
No form, no phone line, and a reason for both
The team works ninety minutes upriver and there is no phone signal past the boat. Email is the one channel that reaches us reliably wherever we happen to be, so that is the channel we publish rather than a number that rings out.
It also suits the questions people actually have. A medication history does not fit in a form field, and the enquiries worth sending are the long ones. Write as much as you need. Once you apply, a forty five minute call with your integration lead is scheduled at a time that works in your time zone.
Applications, medical questions, dates, payment plans, press. One address, answered within 48 hours on weekdays.
An hour by road from Iquitos airport and thirty minutes by boat. The exact landing is sent on confirmation, and we collect you at arrivals.
Correspondence and ceremonies run in English. The maestros work in Shipibo, with translation at every point outside ceremony.
No sequences, no reminders, no sales calls. If we cannot help we will say so and point you somewhere that can.
02 · Not sure where to start
Pick the question you actually have
Each of these opens an email with the subject line already filled in, so it reaches the right person on the first pass.
Will my prescription rule me out?
SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, lithium, tramadol, triptans and stimulants are all read individually. Send the name, the dose and how long you have taken it, and the physician will answer plainly.
Ask the medical team DatesWhich week should I aim for?
Allow six to eight weeks: two for screening, three for the dieta. If a taper is needed we plan around your prescriber, not around a week we want to fill.
Check open weeks TravelHow do I get there from the US?
Lima, then two hours north to Iquitos, then an hour by road and thirty minutes by boat. We collect you at the airport. Arrive the day before — there is no road in.
Ask about logistics HealthVaccinations and antimalarials?
Yellow fever is recommended for Loreto, and some antimalarials interact with ayahuasca. Send what your travel clinic suggests before you fill the prescription.
Ask before you fill it PaymentAre there payment plans?
Three or six months. 30% holds a place once a physician confirms it, balance 30 days out, full refund to 45 days out, and medical withdrawals refunded in full at any point.
Ask about a plan Someone elseI am asking for a family member
We will talk to you, but we cannot screen someone who has not written to us themselves. The application has to come from the person who will sit.

Four steps, and you can stop at any one of them
A named person replies
Not a no-reply address. If you asked a medical question, the answer comes from the physician rather than being paraphrased for you.
Thirty four questions
Medication, cardiac and psychiatric history, and what you are hoping for. It reads like a pre-operative form because ayahuasca contains MAO inhibitors — and because a hospital is ninety minutes away, thirty of them on the river.
Forty five minutes
With the integration lead who will stay with you for a year afterwards. Ask them anything, including what usually goes wrong and how guests handle the heat.
A place, or a plain no
Roughly one in five applications does not proceed. Declined applicants get the reason in writing and a referral list, at no charge, and are sometimes offered a place at one of our Andean houses instead.
Before you write
If your question is about a medication, include the name, the dose and how long you have taken it. That single detail turns a week of back and forth into one answer. The same goes for anything a travel clinic has prescribed.
In crisis
We are not an emergency service and we cannot respond quickly to a crisis. In the US call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or 911. Please do that first, and write to us afterwards.

Ask the awkward question first.
The medication you think will disqualify you, the diagnosis you have not told anyone, the month you are not sure you can take off. Those are the ones worth sending, and they are the ones we are best at answering.
